Rekkord F400 Advanced Automatic Sub-Chassis Turntable

With the Rekkord F400 Advanced Automatic Sub-Chassis Turntable features a massless tracking force adjustment which optimizes the center of gravity directly at the bearing center. The automatic system is adjusted and fine-tuned by experienced technicians and is based on a highly complex mechanism which has traditionally matured and further developed over decades.

The preadjusted high quality Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is mounted on a carbon fiber reinforced headshell which offers the perfect connection to the aluminium tonearm. The 2M Red is an all-purpose cartridge that delivers an open and dynamic sound with a slight touch of warmth.

The plinth is made of MDF and is available in 4 different finishes: satin black, high gloss black, and cherry or makassar real wood veneers. Cables, dust cover and a single adapter comes supplied with the turntable.

8,3” weight-balanced tonearm – Ultra low mass (ULM) aluminium tonearm with steel tip-ball bearings from our own production.
Massless tracking force adjustment – Massless tracking force adjustment which optimizes the center of gravity directly at the bearing center.
Damped aluminum platter – The solid aluminium platter has a damping ring on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and minimizes wow and flutter.
One piece MDF chassis – The main chassis is made out of a single piece of MDF which has an ideal resonance-dampening basic character.

Sophisticated sub-chassis design

The entire automatic system as well as the tonearm and the damped aluminum platter are built on a floating sub-chassis platform which is decoupled from the rest of the chassis.

The electronic speed monitoring and control is responsible for the best possible accurate and stable speeds.

A solid wooden console made of MDF (available in satin black, high gloss black, and cherry or makassar real wood veneers) absorbs all kinds of vibrations and impact sound.

The F400 is supplied including the preadjusted Ortofon 2M Red MM cartridge.
