Description
Atoll Electronique AM400 Power Amplifier
The Atoll Electronique AM400 Power Amplifier is designed according to strict audiophile standards.
It thus benefits from a double mono design implementing a large 1015 VA toroidal transformer associated with numerous capacitors giving it a current capacity of 111,300 µF. If these figures do not speak for themselves, they express the capacity of the Atoll AM400 amp to maintain the rate at high volume and in particular in the low register.
By comparison, the Atoll AM400 power amplifier has a much higher current capacity than most multi-channel home cinema amplifiers. This is to say if its design is serious.

Features
Atoll AM400: 2 x 160 watts or 1 x 600 watts
For its power stages, the Atoll AM400 amplifier uses no less than 8 MOS-FET transistors per channel.
These electronic chips have always been renowned for their great musicality, in particular for their ability to deliver robust and fluid sound. The audio stages are carefully designed to provide the Atoll AM400 amplifier with considerable and perfectly controlled energy.
The connection cables between the motherboard and the speaker outputs are made of pure silver-plated oxygen-free copper and coated with Teflon insulation. Manufactured on request by one of the best French manufacturers, these cables make it possible to preserve the entire audio signal during its transfer, guaranteeing the most faithful reproduction.
With this design, the Atoll AM400 power amp is capable of delivering up to 2 x 160 watts into 8 ohms in stereo mode or 600 watts in mono mode. Enough to power any compact or column speaker without the slightest difficulty.
Thanks to its high current capacity and its 8 Mos-FET transistors per channel, the Atoll AM400 power amplifier can deliver up to 2 x 160 watts in stereo mode or 600 watts in mono mode.
Atoll AM400: RCA and XLR inputs
On its rear panel, the Atoll AM400 power amplifier provides an RCA and XLR stereo input.
It can thus easily be associated with any pre-amplifier. An RCA stereo output is also available to associate it with a second power amplifier. A particularly useful feature when the Atoll AM400 amplifier is used in mono mode.
Finally, the loudspeaker terminals are gold-plated and have been selected for their ability to transmit without alteration all the energy as well as the tiniest details of the sound signal. They are compatible with large section cables and banana plugs.
The Atoll AM400 power amp is equipped with RCA and XLR inputs.
Benefiting from a dual mono design and rigorously selected components, the Atoll AM400 power amplifier is a first choice solution to fully exploit any compact or column loudspeaker.
