The Lotoo is well connected. The overall character of the S1 leans towards neutral with some warmth – just a touch, but not enough to become problematic. It offers excellent dynamics and superb levels of detail and insight into the recording – the kind that would please even the most fervent audiophile. It does this without adding too much of its own character and remains smooth at all times, never descending into brightness or harshness.
To round things off, it’s well-built, feature-packed, incredibly portable, and comes without the eye-watering price tag expected for this level of performance. The chipset is inspired by the top of the line DAP range from the brand and boosts similar sound quality output. It features a low distortion value of 0.0004% and a background noise level of -118dBu, the DAC/AMP provides a crystal clear sound output with minutest of the details popping out. It is able to decode PCM up to 32-Bit/384khz, and DSD up to DSD128 natively. Along with a premium high-performance DAC chipset, the PAW S1 uses a standalone AMP chip, OPA1622 that boosts out powerful output with no background noise.
Built-In EQ/ATE:-
Lotoo Paw series of DAP’s have their own customized EQ and ATE settings that users can choose from, the Paw S1 also houses those EQ/ATE settings, so users can expect a high-class DAP level performance from their smartphones with the use of Paw S1.
OLED Display:-
Lotoo Paw S1 houses an OLED LCD display that shows the basic info like active PCM/DSD format type, active EQ, High/Low gain modes, and volume levels. This is surely an innovative and new edition to the USB Type-C DAC/AMP’s.

Lotoo is very famous for its brilliantly made DAP’s. They all have premium and exquisite built and the Paw S1 is also not an exception. It is a very well built product with CNC Aluminium material, it houses an OLED display on the front and media control buttons on the right side.

Lotoo Paw S1 features plug and play support, one doesn’t need to install any drivers on PC/Smartphones, just plug the S1 into Type-C port and it is ready to use. The Paw S1 supports Android, iOS, MAC, Windows OS without any issues.
